Flowers seem to become colorful butterflies in a detailed illusion masterminded by Peru's Gelacio Gir�n. He takes his inspiration from the artistry of Colonial times, and paints the motifs by hand on the reverse side of glass. Featuring a wood backing, the frame's contours are elegantly marked in gilt.
