After you set your style profile by quickly rating photos of products. Our patented algorithm finds the aesthetic patterns in your responses and maps them to products with similar aesthetics in our vast database. You have to see it to believe it.
Like fingerprints, there are an infinite number of style profiles. Your individual taste does not fit into neat categories, so we have developed a way to quantify all of its facets. Our patented algorithm is able to understand all of the nuances of your unique personal taste.
Your can set your style profile by simply rating 10 product images using our star system. The process takes less than two minutes, and it’s fun. When finished, the page will automatically refresh with products selected to match your style!
StyleMates are other StylePath users whose style profile is similar to yours. Since you and your StyleMates have similar tastes, they are the perfect people with whom to share recommendations. Since your tastes may differ from jewelry to home decor, you will have different StyleMates in different categories.
Even though each individual’s style profile is unique, our algorithm is able to recognize patterns similar to yours in some other people’s profiles. These people are your StyleMates. Since you and your StyleMates have similar tastes, they are the perfect people to draw shopping ideas and inspiration from. You can view your StyleMates' picks on the product detail page.
StylePath is a personal shopping agent that shows you products you’ll love from thousands of different vendors across the internet. All products featured on StylePath are available for purchase directly from vendors that we have hand-picked. Once you’ve found an item that you want to purchase, simply click the buy button and you’ll be instantly directed to the checkout page on the vendor’s website to complete the purchase. Then you can immediately go back to enjoying StylePath.
Creating your style profile takes less than two minutes. You simply rate 10 products based on how they appeal to your personal taste and then you’re ready to start some seriously optimized shopping!
Because your taste is unique across all categories, we need you to rate each unique product category separately. Our extensive research into aesthetic-profiling has determined something that is probably already obvious to you: taste can be different in different categories. Setting each new profile only takes two minutes and think of all the time it’ll save you from looking at products you’d never buy!
As you interact with the site by clicking on products, our algorithm will get a better sense of your individual style and will begin to customize subsequent searches.
By clicking on any main product category you will see a list of subcategories available to shop in. These include home décor, lighting, kitchen and bath fixtures, furnishings, jewelry and watches, and fashion.
You can use your WishList to save and compare products you find on StylePath.
Since we offer you products from a wide range of websites, it’s nice to have one place to park all of the items you like and then decide which one you want to purchase...this is much simpler than clicking back and forth from site to site among multiple browser windows attempting to compare products.
WishList is a list to save and compare items that you are thinking about purchasing.
Share with StyleMates is designed to help you give your StyleMates a better sense of your personal style.
By default, items that you add to your WishList are shared with your StyleMates (to save you the trouble of adding the same products twice). However, items you choose to share with StyleMates are not automatically added to your WishList.
For starters, searching is different on StylePath, because we are the only website that learns your sense of style, so after you set your style profile, you’ll only see search results that appeal to your taste.
Once you get results that are customized to match your style profile, you can expand results to see additional items similar to those that catch your eye by using "more similar items."
Select the mail envelope icon from any product detail page to send a link to a friend via email or instant messaging (AIM) with one click.
3D Decorator is a three-dimensional design tool that lets you experiment with and visualize different decorating styles and products in a realistic living room model.
You can choose one of four decorating styles and then change individual pieces of furniture or decorating elements with a single click. When you find a look that you like you can click on any of the items in the room to view additional product information.
